The Functions of the International Association for Value Assurance are:

• To provide training courses

  • IAVA is a training provider and presents a variety of training courses. The courses incorporate Value Search methodology, including best practice, and are adapted to the environment of the various organizations involved.

  • IAVA's courses ensure that the needs of executives, management, representatives and all stakeholders' are addressed.

• To provide an accreditation program for IAVA's instructors.

• To provide a framework that is utilized to measure compliance to the standards of the Value Search process.

• To provide an accreditation program for IAVA's auditors.

• To provide auditors who can audit the process with IAVA's experience.

  • This puts IAVA in a unique position to assist organizations with the design and implementation of the Value Search program, and its optimization within the period of auditing.

• To design a framework to help organizations to face increased market challenges every day.

  • This would be through the assessment of the readiness of such organizations to respond to those challenges by using Value Search methodology criteria as a framework for excellence.

  • The criteria are designed to help organizations to enhance their competitiveness through focus on results orientated goals.
