Level 1, Bronze |
Value Methodology
Associate (VMA) - signifies basic level training has been attained
through:
- Satisfy participation in a
45-hour Value Search initial training workshop
- Passing Level 1 examination
- Submission of satisfactory post
workshop report regarding follow-through on value proposals
- Membership of the International
Association of Value Assurance.

Value Assurance
Practitioner (VAP) - signifies some applied experience and basic
level training through:
- Level 1 certification
- Minimum of 2 years acceptable
practical experience participating in or coordinating at least 6
formal Value Search studies since gaining Level 1 Certification
- Requisite number of Continuous
Professional Development (CPD) credits gained since Level 1
Certification
- Continuing membership of the
International Association for Value Assurance.

Level 3, Gold |
Value Assurance
Specialist (VAS) - signifies expert level of applied experience and
advanced level of training through:
- Level 2 Certification
- Successful participation in a
27-hour advanced training course and related examination
- Minimum of 4 years acceptable
referred paper on the application or development of Value Assurance
- Requisite number of Continuous
Professional Development (CPD) credits gained since Level 2
Certification
- Continuing membership of the
International Association for Value Assurance

Level 4, Platinum |
Value Assurance
Caoch and Project Value Certifier (VAC) - signifies well experienced
Value Assurance Specialist with recognized training / coaching skills
through:
- Level 3 Certification
- Minimum of 6 years acceptable
practical experience leading and / or coordinating formal Value Search
programs since gaining Level 1 Certification
- Successful participation in a
Value Search Train the Trainer course
- Satisfactory interview with an
IAVA principal
- Requisite number of Continuous
Professional Development (CPD) credits gained since Level 3
certification
- Continuing membership of the
International Association for Value Assurance.

Notes |
- There is a minimum basic education
requirement of Bachelor's level degree from a recognized education
institution
- Practical experience will be audited
for authenticity
- A previously successful SAVE
International Associate Value Specialist may be transferred to the
classification of Value Assurance Associated, subject to verification
of credentials
- In Search of Value, Parts 1 and 2,
together with the Value Solutions Module 1, form the basis of the IAVA
body of knowledge and training courses. Practical group sessions form
50% of the content of the training courses.
